Established in 2014, Bad Jeff’s Barbeque brings something new to the Vinohrady neighborhood’s thriving restaurant scene: American-style BBQ with a twist. Forget pigs-on-spits and blackened meat, though: Bad Jeff’s Barbeque offers a high-quality dining experience from the front door to the back, combining fantastic food and sensational service in a style the man himself dubs „dirty casual“.

Jeffery „Bad Jeff“ Cohen certainly knows a thing or two about food. Bad Jeff’s Barbeque is the 16th restaurant he’s opened, in a career that’s taken in world-renowned kitchens on either side of the Atlantic, but it’s the first he’s owned, and he’s determined to make it something special.

God I love this place. Brisket to die for, incredibly well done chicken wings, mouthwatering pulled pork, fall off the bone ribs, oh and one helluva good burger. Don’t get me started on the sides, desserts and drinks. Just go there, but best to reserve. So so good.

Wow – I grew up in Atlanta Georgia and have my fair share of southern BBQ. Truffle Mac and cheese was amazing. Had the half rack of ribs and they were great. Drinks were cheap and the jalapeño pie was excellent. Highly recommend this place. Next time I’m back in Prague, I’ll be coming here again!

Located on Americká street, Bad Jeff's Barbeque is a cosy 60-seater restaurant in the heart of Prague's vibrant Vinohrady district. We're a short walk from the Náměstí Míru tram and metro stops, within easy striking distance of Wenceslas Square and the rest of downtown, so there's no excuse for not stopping by and saying hello.

Both our main room and our smaller "salonek", which seats up to 18, are available for private functions. Just contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Signature dishes include Bad Jeff's mighty, mouth-watering ribs, plus a range of other juicy and delicious American barbeque classics prepared to perfection under the owner's watchful eye. Jeff's award-winning gourmet burger (named Prague's best on numerous occasions) will also put in an appearance, but on a strictly "first come, first served" basis, limited to 25 covers per day. And Bad Jeff's beef jerky, the flavor-filled meat treat that became a Prague cult, will also be available again.

Same like our baristas, with a smile up to it. They are here to help, recommend and explain. They have fallen in love with coffee, deeply.

The great bread, tasty sandwiches, fluffy buns and other goodies, you may have tried in our cafés, are baked and made within our bakery near the Palmovka metro station. At the same place we also roast the coffee, which is mostly on our grinders. If you wanna have a look at the bakery & roastery, stop by at the EMA espresso bar in Světova street.
