4worldlovers: PCU's Living Futures Annual Theme initiative delves into the complex realm of global challenges by encouraging interdisciplinary exploration of a central theme. For the 2023-24 academic year, faculty have selected a one-word theme “Adapt”. Adapt will filter through activities and events within and beyond the curriculum and encompass various topics such as technological advancements, global challenges, evolving work environments, and mental resilience. Adapt embodies a spirit of resilience, flexibility, and forward thinking. It also recognises that change is not only inevitable but also an opportunity for growth, innovation and success. We've been thrilled to welcome a record number of new and returning students back to campus and to Prague. The occasion was celebrated with a great Welcome Party at Radost FX, a Welcome Walk, Art Walk, and a park meet-up organised by the Student Council. Students have now begun classes with their peers and lecturers, in preparation for the upcoming months.

At NYU Prague, programs in journalism and media as well as music—both performance and composition—offer unique learning opportunities. Through the academic internship program, NYU Prague partners with an internship provider to allow students to intern for credit within a number of exciting industries.

From September 11th to 15th, 2023, Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) hosted a Summer School within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on the "War in Ukraine and its Security Implications." This initiative brought together students and experts from Helsinki, Tartu, Warsaw, Bratislava, and Banska Bystrica to discuss the complexities of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and its far-reaching security implications.


I had the opportunity to study in Vienna at Webster University for a semester, thanks to Erasmus. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to live in such a gorgeous city. Vienna is full of stunning architecture, greenery and kind people from all around the world.

AAU is located in the newly restored Thurn-Taxis Palace beneath the iconic Prague Castle in the historic Malá Strana district.

A hub for students, faculty, staff, and administration to connect, the Thurn-Taxis Palace hosts everything from art installations and Student BBQ’s and campus events. Just adjacent to the courtyard is Vojanovy Sady, one of the oldest green spaces in the city, filled with peacocks and an apiary.
